Hollis Renovation and Expansion Committee

Mission

The Hollis School District Renovation and Expansion Committee (HREC) will research and develop potential solutions related to the current academic, space, and safety challenges associated with increased enrollment and existing capacity limitations.

HREC was formed in June 2026 in the wake of the failed bond measure proposed by the Hollis Enrollment Committee (HEC). Upcoming Meetings

HREC will meet on the third Monday of each month at 3:15pm in the Hollis Primary School Multi-Purpose Room:

*The January date is moved due to the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Holiday

Please note: a casual brainstorming session with our Professional Volunteer, architect Julie Spence, for committee members and the public is scheduled for July 23rd at 8:30am in the HPS MPR. A tour of the building is also being offered prior to the session at 8:00am.

The Committee's February meeting may be cancelled as warrant articles will already be determined and residents will be attending town public hearings.
