FAQs
Q: My child is enrolled, but moving up a grade into a new school. Do I need to reenroll them?
A: Nope! The bus barn and the schools work closely and will arrange your child on a new bus route if needed. Please confirm your child's bus route every year when the new lists come out.
Q: Do I need to pay for my child to get bussing services?
A: All fees associated with bussing children to and from school is handled by SAU41. Easy access to education is your child's right.
Q: My child requires special accommodations for bussing, who should I contact?
A: Please contact the Special Education Administrator at your child's school for these needs.
How to Enroll
Once your child is enrolled in school, you will have the opportunity opt into bussing services. The schools are responsible for providing your information to the bus barn- who will then place your child's stop amongst one of the potential bus routes.
In August, the bus barn will share the new school year's bus routes with the SAU41 Central Office which you can refer to to find out pick up and drop off times.
Specific questions? See here.
Please first contact the school at which your child attends to clarify any transportation questions you have.
While the schools can provide answers to basic questions about bussing, we ask that you use the contact information below for any specific concerns about your child's transportation.
